I can finally announce….

That I’ve been appointed President-elect for the Canberra chapter of the International Coach Federation. I’ve known for the last two weeks, but it’s only been announced officially today.
It was totally unexpected when I was asked. I sat on the phone for a couple of minutes with my mouth open, and then just asking “Me? Are you sure?” I’m stoked, I’ve put so much work into the chapter in my position as Events Leader, and it’s so rewarding to see a result like this.
The current president is most likely resigning next year, so I have about five months to learn what I’m doing. I have the most awesome leadership team to work with, they are all amazing people and I’m so glad I’ve got them.
I’m still doing a happy dance, even after knowing for the last few weeks!

I’m sure I would have spent a few hours tidying the house in the lead up to your visit
It is such a huge relief to finally have found what works for us. I don’t think I realised last term how stressed and sick I was as I loved work so much it compensated for it but I just feel a million times better now and the house (and everything that flows from that) is a big part of it.
Um September 2011? I really want to have it in September as Ooctober is my most favourite time of the year but September is the school holidays. It won’t be before he goes away anyhow. But the de facto paperwork is all in and we had our counselling session, just need the important people to sign and file it.
