DH arrived back home last thursday night. He pointed out to me on the weekend that I’d posted about running, but not about him getting home… guess I was too excited to do that!
So far he’s slept a lot and watched a lot of DVD’s. Catching up on six months of constant working and long days. He’s off work for all of May and then goes back to work to a new position in June.
It’s so good to have him home!

Running I’ve recently started running again after several years break. I’m following the Couch To 5km program, and have taken three weeks to complete the runs for Week 1. In my defence, I’ve also been on holidays in that time, I’m running hills (lucky to find 100m of flat ground here) and have bad knees – so I refuse to push myself too hard.
So far so good. I’m also reading up on Chi Running, which is supposed to prevent injury and be easier on the body. I’ve been incorporating some of the basic forms in my running and it’s certainly making a difference so far.
