I can finally announce….

That I’ve been appointed President-elect for the Canberra chapter of the International Coach Federation. I’ve known for the last two weeks, but it’s only been announced officially today.

It was totally unexpected when I was asked. I sat on the phone for a couple of minutes with my mouth open, and then just asking “Me? Are you sure?” I’m stoked, I’ve put so much work into the chapter in my position as Events Leader, and it’s so rewarding to see a result like this.

The current president is most likely resigning next year, so I have about five months to learn what I’m doing. I have the most awesome leadership team to work with, they are all amazing people and I’m so glad I’ve got them.

I’m still doing a happy dance, even after knowing for the last few weeks!

Testing….

I’ve been playing with the site a bit; this post is just a simple test to make sure it’s all working again…

Rosella’s in the Garden

These lovely guys have been visiting us recently in the mornings.  I’m not sure if they’re Eastern Rosella’s or Crimson Rosella’s, whatever they are, they’re gorgeous!  They come into the back yard and eat the seed that the chickens have missed.

More Bread

This is a version of sourdough bread.  It’s from the book  Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day: The Discovery That Revolutionizes Home Baking but there’s the basic recipe online at http://www.motherearthnews.com/print-article.aspx?id=142688 I’ve ordered the book, and in the meantime I made the basic recipe.

I made it up about four days ago and it’s been sitting in the fridge ever since.  This afternoon I followed the instructions and made the basic white loaf.  It’s delicious.  Probably one of the best breads I’ve ever made.  I’ll definately be making this one again!  The loaf is probably about six inches across, so it’s only a small loaf.  Big enough though, as we’re not huge bread eaters.  Yum!
